KAHURANGI
As we entered the hall we saw five people standing dressed in maori clothes. We sat down with peace and quiet until we heard powerful voices. They started off with a play about how the world was made it was how papatuanuku the god earth and ranginui were separated by their sons so there could be light.
They greeted us with pleasure, introducing themselves and shouting out ‘’kia ora’’ we were shouting back to them ‘’kia ora’’. They had well pitched harmony and they were really funny .
